There’s always a lot of confusion and discussion of the different wheel mounting systems - which is better, whether steel or aluminum wheels are better, interchangeability, nut lubrication, stud length, and the like, and most truck and bus guys have definite opinions.

I’ve come to really appreciate the types of folks who are interested in and even consider undertaking a project like this. If you’ve done it, you know what I mean. Some have said that it’s just about the most complex and involved project an individual can undertake. Even more than building one’s own house. It is.
