Ok, so the bed prototype worked fairly well, but it was time to take it to the next step.

So after having built a fully functional bathroom, I broke my own rule and couldn’t stop myself from trying some finish work. Not quite Dwell Magazine quality, but hey, it works for me!

Like “normal” bus conversions (and motorhomes and RVs in general) which have independent black and grey tanks, the black tank is directly below the stool. There could be a liability with this tank, as it’s only 20 gallons, but once I start serious boondocking it will become clear whether or not it fills before the 100 gallon grey tank. Something tells me it’ll be fine.
What’s unusual here is that it’s going in exactly where the original bus tank was, because my stool extends downward through the original chute. And it’s lotsa fun working in 102 degrees! I coulda been at the beach with that shade!

So, it’s back to electrical for the bathroom…
Have I mentioned that certainly on the top-ten list of tools, the reciprocating saw is way up there! Man, what fun. HAH!
And we got Powah!
I’m still amazed sometimes that I’m able to figger this stuff out!
The Bath sink, functional. NO HANDLES! It’s one of my pet peeves. Dripping water all over the handles to turn the water on and off. Don’t ask me to explain. ![]()

Yep, that butcher paper skylight is the cat’s meow!
Speaking of the cat’s meow, the junkyard cats would like to say hello…
