A bus-fest for bus enthusiasts was held in Timmonsville, SC in May. Gary LaBombard did a great job with photos and writeup of the event!

Among the beauts was this incredible Flxible, owned by Dave & Carol Lang. This is the bus I lust after.
It’s easy to see the attention to detail in the further photos on Gary’s photo site.

Bus Conversion enthusiasts from western US, Canada and beyond always enjoy Bus’N USA in Rickreall, Oregon. Food, seminars, hanging around fellow busnuts, and other tomfoolery await you only a short drive from the Oregon coast. Imagine mid-July in almost any other place on the continent and then imagine the Oregon coast.
Hosted by the experienced Dick Wright, David Gregory and Bob Lewis, it’s one of a small handful of annual opportunities to gather with other bus enthusiasts to see great coaches, meet in person the guys you talk to everyday on the bus forums, and learn from the experts.
UMA, the United Motorcoach Association, the trade organization for professional bus and motorcoach companies, will hold its Motorcoach Expo 2007 in New Orleans, on January 17-21, 2007. UMA’s 2006 convention in Tampa this year, with more than 130 exhibitors, 500 operating companies, and 1,500 attendees, was an apparent success.
Mardi Gras was bigger than many expected in 2006 and the city is working hard to welcome back visitors. One of the city’s upcoming signature events, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival is scheduled for April 28-30 and May 5-7, 2006. The Fairgrounds event is boasting as impressive a lineup as ever, with headliners to include Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, Gulf Coast native Jimmy Buffett, the Dave Mathews Band and Elvis Costello as well as local legends.

Rollin’, rollin’, rollin’,…Git them buses rollin’. Rawwwwhide!
If you have never had an opportunity to get up close to a converted bus, this is your opportunity. Most of the coach owners are proud of their creations and will tell you all you want to know about converted buses.
