    Bath floor and plumbing chase

    September 24th, 2006

BathSo after having built a fully functional bathroom, I broke my own rule and couldn’t stop myself from trying some finish work. Not quite Dwell Magazine quality, but hey, it works for me!

And back to plumbing to install the Black Tank

    August 15th, 2006

BlacktankLike “normal” bus conversions (and motorhomes and RVs in general) which have independent black and grey tanks, the black tank is directly below the stool. There could be a liability with this tank, as it’s only 20 gallons, but once I start serious boondocking it will become clear whether or not it fills before the 100 gallon grey tank. Something tells me it’ll be fine.

P8080233What’s unusual here is that it’s going in exactly where the original bus tank was, because my stool extends downward through the original chute. And it’s lotsa fun working in 102 degrees! I coulda been at the beach with that shade!

So, it’s back to electrical for the bathroom…

SawzallHave I mentioned that certainly on the top-ten list of tools, the reciprocating saw is way up there! Man, what fun. HAH!

    Powah-1And we got Powah!

    Sinkage in da Bath

    July 14th, 2006

BrpipesI’m still amazed sometimes that I’m able to figger this stuff out!

BrsinkThe Bath sink, functional. NO HANDLES! It’s one of my pet peeves. Dripping water all over the handles to turn the water on and off. Don’t ask me to explain. ;)

Yep, that butcher paper skylight is the cat’s meow!

JunkyardcatsSpeaking of the cat’s meow, the junkyard cats would like to say hello…

    Down the Hatch!

OK, for you it may not be exciting, but seeing water flowing down this hole is mighty exciting for me! You probably can’t see the elegant flow in the photo, but it’s there!
